What are the benefits?

CBD oil is known to help with stress, sleep, pain, inflammation, nausea, vomiting, PMS, headaches, skin, redness and maintain a healthy body balance among many other benefits.

 

Am I going to feel “high”?

No, hemp oil and CBD oil are non-psychoactive, which means you won't feel high. Other strains with THC, will give you the "high" sensation. All our products contain less than 0.3% of THC.

 

How long does hemp oil stay in your system?

It is believed anywhere from two to five days. However, this will depend on each person, how much CBD oil is consumed and how often.

 

Are there any side effects?

While very minor, it’s important to know that hemp oil can affect everyone differently and what might happen for one person might not be the same for you. We always suggest start with a low dosage and gradually build up. If you notice any side effects, drop your dosage down.


What is CBD?


CBD is short for cannabidiol. It is a chemical compound from the Cannabid sativa plant, also known as cannabis (marijuana) plant. There are 113 unique molecules in the plant. CBD is second most prevalent. Each molecule has unique benefits.

 

What is the difference between Hemp and Marijuana?

They are both from the same species of plants, however, hemp is from a cannabis plant that contains less than 0.3% THC and marijuana is from a cannabis plant that contains more than 0.3% THC. CBD can come from either plant; however, all Foliage products only use ingredients from from hemp.

 
What is the difference between Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum and Isolate CBD?

Full Spectrum uses the whole plant, including all the terpenes, phytochemicals, essential oils and molecules, which means it contains traces of THC (<0.3%). Broad Spectrum contains all the great benefits of the whole plant but does not contain THC. Isolate does not contain the benefits of the whole plant but is pure CBD. Also, Isolate does not benefit from the entourage effect, while both Full Spectrum and Broad Spectrum do.

Do Foliage products contain Cannabidiol (CBD)?

Yes, all of our products contain CBD, the natural constituent of hemp oil. In addition, our products contain hundreds of additional beneficial botanical compounds, including CBD, CBDa, CBG, CBN, and more. Our products do not contain THC.

 

What carrier oil are in Foliage products?

We use coconut oil and natural flavors. Our formulations are based around purity and quality.

 

Why is water soluble CBD more effective than CBD oil?

CBD bioavailability is how much of the CBD your body actually absorbs. The average adult human body is 50% - 65% water, averaging around 57% - 60%. As you may remember, oil and water do not mix. Oil based CBD products have a bioavailability rate of 1% to 15%. Our water-soluble CBD complex is 100% bioavailable, making our products significantly more effective than oil and other water-soluble solutions available on the market, which are achieved by the use of nanotechnology.

 

Are CBD products safe to travel with?

Each country has their own set of rules. We recommend you check with the local authorities in the country you are planning to visit. We always feel it is better to be safe than sorry.
